When Daniel was 9, the family would move to Hoylake, on the west coast of the Wirrel, looking out over Liverpool Bay. Here, having failed his 11-Plus, he was sent to a tough secondary modern. At Hilbre High School at nearby West Kirby (other former pupils include cyclist Chris Boardman and pop stars The Coral and Orchestral Manoevres In The Dark) he played rugby (he also played for Hoylake Rugby Club), supported the then near-invincible Liverpool FC and joined in with the school's plays, taking the lead in Oliver, Romeo And Juliet and Cinderella. Academically, however, he was not a good student. This is not to say he was disinterested as he reacted well when his mother (who'd get remarried to the artist Max Blond) fed his imagination with literature. Indeed, having received Ted Hughes' Crow on his 10th birthday, he would even sneak into a local girls' grammar school to hear

Don't know if this topic has already been touched on, but my husband and I just saw the new James Bond film and he has got to be my MOST FAVORITE BOND to date!! Tre sexy!! Movie was great as well.
I grew up with Roger Moore and I loved all his James Bond flicks. Who could forget "Jaws" with those silver teeth  :D

Me too, although I'm older than you and grew up with Sean Connery.

all Roger Moore did was playact.  He moved his eyes about alot.  Sorry, I reckon Sir Roger (although I love him), was the worst James Bond.

Loving Daniel Craig.  Have you found that lowbudget movie I told you about yet, the one where he first takes his kit off?  It's called The Mother.  It's scary.

Haha, brilliant. Must be the first time you made a decent post.

Just saw the movie yesterday. I liked it a lot. More realistic/hardcore bond.
Without all the gadgets and oneliners. I think this is the best bond movie, and he's the best bond.

They focus a lot on his body as well, lol. I was thinking, here he is, half-naked again,  :).

Like Layer cake this new Bond was gritty, much more than the previous Bond's, and Bond actually has some character this time! (Instead of the flat character it normally is)
