But try to avoid her sleeping inbetween you and Bob!!!! First daughter did with myself and my ex and although there was many things that ruined our short-lived marriage, no alone time didn't help out. As for this little one, she's a great sleeper in her crib when she wants to be, but there have been times she's ended up with us!!! We have found that it was easier to give in than not...especially with the first's!!!!

We actually bought one of the "side sleepers", it is a bassinet that has the one side dropped and it butts up against your mattress. She will sleep there for the first 3 mos or so...then we will move her to the nursery. I just cant imagine her sleeping so far away
. Her room is on the other side of the upstairs from us!!
I will snuggle her up to Bob to wake him in the mornings...he would eat that up!!
Mike and I went to bed early (hubba hubba). No drinking at all. And yes...it was hot last night. 
We too were asleep before midnight, but never heard any fireworks or even the phone for that matter (my sister called at midnight to say Happy New Year). I didn't have to work, but we did have clients at the gym. Wasn't too bad.

No bragging Cheri!! You forget you are talking to a woman who has a basketball size belly...and only having sex to hopefully induce labor!! Which might have worked this AM!!
Can I feel it??? Can I feel it??? HELL YES!! It feels like someone has kicked me between the legs...my pelvis hurts, my legs go numb when I sleep, my back feels like someone hit me with a bat, and the contractions stop me in my tracks! So yea...I feel it!! But I'm not complaining...just anxiously waiting. The days are getting longer though.
