Injecting into the calves?
« on: February 28, 2007, 05:15:24 PM »
I injected into my calve that other day, not the best spot since it is pretty sore today.  I noticed my calve twitched when i was sticking myself but kept going thru the muscle, did I go thru a nerve or something?

I have had that happen on my quad, probally is a nerve, hurts like hell for a while.  "But then if Im not already in enough pain", said by former co-worker after hand got smashed between 2 walls.

Guys it's not that bad, just a little tight and sore.  Why is it so bad to inject into calves?

It's not bad if you know waht you're doing but it's not one of the easiest spots to inject and there are a bazillion other efficient spots. The main problem when injecting calves is that you have so many nerve endings in your calf and this can cause a lot of unecisary pain.
