obviously spoilers in this thread

hunt vs fedor - hunt impressed me on the ground, fedor getting full mouth so early and then that sick armbar that he got out of, not bad considering he hasnt been working the groundgame for so long. and then getting a few submission attemps and mounting fedor himself was pretty awesome. hunt should've punched more. i dont know if all that extra weight is a good or bad thing for him.

josh vs noguiera - could've gone either way. i thought josh won it slightly. not impressed by noguiera. josh looked tired at the end but overall i think he did a better job. noguiera sure cant submit him. and he cant knock him out. it was much closer for josh to submit nog.

yoshida vs thompson - haha crazy fights. at times looked like two drunks fighting.

fujita vs eladari - haha what the hell, how can they let a guy like that up against fujita? it was like going back to the early ufc days when people didn't have a clue...

nakamura vs shogun - commentators thought shoguns cardio was off, but he looked pretty good to me.

I thought the Hunt/Fedor fight was very entertaining. Hunt surprised me on the ground. He almost subbed Fedor a few times. I think he should've tried a little harder to get some knees in from the side mount. At one point he had his knee about 2 inches from the top of Fedor's head and didn't do anything until he bumped it and realized where it was. Overall though, Hunt looked a lot better than I thought he would.

i dont think hunt was THAT close so submit fedor but it was a couple of good attemps nevertheless... overall his work on the ground was very impressive, if he can hang with fedor he can hang with anyone. and standing up his got the best chin in the business and is one of the hardest hitters so he gone to the top of pride in a very short time... it was dramatic both when fedor was close to submit him and when hunt was trying to submit fedor cause you never know how much that bodyweight and strength of hunt can be a factor putting the pressure on!

for the first time in a while at least there was a chance of fedor, possibly, losing, at least he didnt look invincible

Fedor's coaches said after the fight that they aren't happy with the way he's been fighting lately. They said that he's been fighting down to other's levels because he knows he can win whenever he wants and just fucks around out there until he decides to. I want to see Fedor get his back against the wall in a real fight for his belt and see what happens. Just a shame that CroCop is probably the only guy who can give him that fight and we won't be seeing that for 2+ years probably.
