i don't know about yall,but when i train biceps i am not training forearms,training forearms should not be a compound movement as a bicep/tricep bi-product 

anybody who says wrist raps hurt performance officially is a jackass

so you have a shitty grip and, likely, shitty forearms. man up and buy some goddamn chalk. i haven't used straps in months and there's not one exercise i can't do.

The best way, is to use straps, then hit forearms separate.  If you your shoulders/back can lift more than your forearms, you are haulting their progress.  Do a few sets of forearms per week and it offsets the strap usage, plus, builds a fatter forearm.  You can hit forearms best through regular exercises, they should be hit separate.  Even though many bodybuilders don't do them, they would most likely be better if they did.  Does Priest work forearms?  Regardless, this has worked well for me.

exactly! I wear my straps when I train back or im shrugging but i don't actually use them until I need them.  I also train forearms seperatly.

i wear straps all day at work too, just so people know i workout.

If you can't hold it, don't lift it.
