I thought Rosslyn Golds was pretty cool until a manager came back to complain to a guy who was deadlifting 425..."can you not slam those weights on the bars please" (the guy deadlifting was on a box, so he was hitting the safety bars on the descent) so the manager got out like 25 towels and placed them all faggoty along the bar.

That's sad, Gold's normally lets you get as hardcore as you want to. The owner should be forced to rename the place to "Shapes".

I know that Gold's gym in Virginia. Some bally's are more hardcore than Gold's. Unbelievable, but true. There is another Gold's in Tysons corner, Virginia. I heard King Kamali Visited that gym a while back when he used to live in DC. it's pretty hardcore

are you serious? He mentioned he lived DC for a while. I swear. Kamali was spotted in the area. I can't recall which magazines I read that from.

Kamali has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from George Mason University.

i dont think he could afford the rent in DC so had to live...you know where

I remember seeing King train at the Tysons gym back in maybe 01? This was before I knew anything or anyone involved with pro bodybuilding so I thought he was just another huge m'fker at the gym. He was definitely off season as he was big but chubby looking. My roommate (female) at the time was at the gym with me and I pointed him out to her. Her comment was omg that is disgusting, he looks like a big pimple about ready to pop.

oh really...lol. That Gold's gym in Tysons Corner Rocks. I worked out there 2yrs ago. I heard they were gonna get 200lbs dumbbells

heaviest they have are 150s, Ive yet to see anyone use them.

no one complains about deads n such there. Hell people stuff the olympic bar into the crevice that a metal vent/pipe and the wall create and do tbar rows. Poor metal vent is all dented up.. no one cares

Rack deadlifts are totally gay. I would also be angry if some asshole was smashing up my power rack.
