Al Gore: Oscar and Nobel Prize nominations
« on: February 01, 2007, 01:59:31 PM »
He's being nominated for the 2007 Nobel Peace prize now.

if the current global warming conference in france outputs a massive work showing it is real, and coming, how much credibility will Gore gain?  Will he run for president if he's suddenly the anti-war Guilliani?

He was freaking VP of the US. He could have done more to change CO2 emissions then almost anyone in the world. He puts out a video and now people praise him.
What a bunch of crap. Where was his investments in carbon reducing technologies, where are his caps on emissions.

The simple truth is more people bought SUV's under his VP then at any other time. He only gives two shakes of caring when it becomes a wedge issue for the democrats.

You're not even giving him a chance. He has obviously changed, but you and others just can't seem to accept that. You and others go around calling him an attention whore for putting out a documentary that does a fine deed by alerting more Americans about the potential dengers of climate change. How about giving him the credit and praise that he deserves?

I'll give him credit for drawing attention to what appears to be an important issue.

But I still don't want him to be president.
