Did anyone else get this email? My brother forwarded it to me but I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate.

There's also a list of Senators that voted to give illegal immigrants Social Security benefits, again, I'm not sure how accurate it is. Although if it is accurate it's rather shocking.

The following senators voted against making English the official language of America :

Akaka (D-HI)
Bayh (D-IN)
Biden (D-DE)
Bingaman (D-NM)
Boxer (D-CA)
Cantwell (D-WA)
Clinton (D-NY)
Dayton (D-MN)
Dodd (D-CT)
Domenici (R-NM)
Durbin (D-IL)
Feingold (D-WI)
Feinstein (D-CA)
Harkin (D-IA)
Inouye (D-HI)
Jeffords (I-VT)
Kennedy (D-MA)
Kerry (D-MA)
Kohl (D-WI)
Lautenberg (D-NJ)
Leahy (D-VT)
Levin (D-MI)
Lieberman (D-CT)
Menendez (D-NJ)
Mikulski (D-MD)
Murray (D-WA)
Obama (D-IL)
Reed (D-RI)
Reid (D-NV)
Salazar (D-CO)
Sarbanes (D-MD)
Schumer (D-NY)
Stabenow (D-MI)
Wyden (D-OR)

Now, the following are the senators who voted to give illegal aliens
Social Security benefits. They are grouped by home state. If a state is
not listed, there was no voting representative.

If it's accurate, it's more than shocking, it's fucked up... Goddam this bullshit to hell.

If I get a job in Russia, I learn Russian... would someone please bitch slap these people.

Those 2 fuckers in California are certainly not getting my vote when their re-election bids come up...

There's more Republicans in there than I expected, at least in the vote to give illegal immigrants Social Security benefits.

You somewhat expect that nutjob Liberals would vote that way but not Republicans, not even moderates. Hell, I wouldn't expect moderate Democrats to vote that way.

Guys, I hope you're starting to see the way things "Really work".

Govts use illegal immigrants  for cheap labor.

Consider it a way to circumvent minimum wage for jobs which just aren't worth $5.15 an hour.  Or, consider it a way for us to compete with china in mnfg and agricultural labor.  Or, consider it a way to make money instead of spending money on a fense.  Or, think about how bad the US agricultural industry would do without them.

Face it - social security WILL be restructured in a major way before we get there.  It will have to be.  luckily, our acquisitions in the middle east will stop a little of the pain.  our kids will pay more.  health care restrictions will kill off a few ten millions.  But those in charge care a lot more about keeping their state economies afloat now (using illegal labor) than they do about whether social security will have 150 mil, or 170mil, people to feed in 40 years.

And it goes beyond party lines.  Whoever is in power does it.

I agree that the Government does quite a bit of turning a blind eye to illegals working at jobs that wouldn't be filled otherwise but what's the point of not voting English as our official language? What purpose does that serve? Granting illegals Social Security benefits has an immediate effect on the system, don't look at it from the standpoint of 30 years down the road when the system will be completely different if not gone.

Illegals will begin to strain the system in a very short time, think 5-10 years. Even the idea of granting them benefits is preposterous but to actually vote for it, WTF.

Even if they are a strain in 5 to 10 years, a person running for office in 2008 would rather not have that one come up until AFTER their election.

People vote(d) for it now because they don't want to lose the pivotal hispanic vote in 06 and 08.

hipanics voted strong for repubs in 00, 02 and 04.  Not in 06.  and not in 08.
