No, I 'm a hopeless romantic.

i sence that mate..  :)i ws just not verbalizing it...

I want to be IN LOVE....you know, like that feeling you get. Although falling in love to fast was one of the signs of an abusive person(LOL)!!)....

when ya wake up thinking about her first thing in the morning and your last thought is her...when you smell some random shampoo and it makes you miss her so bad that it leave a hollow feeling in your gut and HAVE to know she is ok and happy..yeah..i know that feeling    when you'd rather go in rags...and see to her every wish just to you'd be blessed with her smile...yeah.. 

seriously though, I want love, and romance, and you know all that stuff, not just a roomate to share responsiblities with. I thought I had that....I mean I was REALLY in love......I had that feeling, unfortunately-it seems that it was only one way.

bide your time mate..dont settle..its gotta be harder for you..you're a big dood..soo unfortunately you must attract a lot of the wrong type of girls..i 'm gonna get blasted for saying that...but all the big guys i know are with really hot women they dont love  ...if ya want it bad enough man..it'll happen!

My darling "T", I have to chime in here on that quote above.  I am sorry, but your darling Milania will break your heart.  There are many small scars like when they cry as you leave them on their first day of school, etc., but the real heart breaker is when they leave home and venture on their own.  It is heart wrenching, I must confess.  So although she will never "purposely" attempt to break your heart, you will at one time or another have to deal with a broken heart.  I will say this though...it is the best feeling when you have seen what a great job you have done raising them and preparing them for the world.  It mends that break in such a warming way.

I am a mother to a young woman who just turned 18 one week ago today and it breaks my heart to know she will be leaving me for college in a few months. Never have I cried like I have just thinking about this, a hurt you can't explain. Happiness and excitement followed by fear.

Thanks for the post, you made me feel "normal".

And on another note, I believe in true love. I have been with my husband since the 7th grade and we are still happily married, with a beautiful young woman who we raised together and yes, lots of passion. True love is alive and it is beautiful!
