During the day (at the office unfortunately
) I usually consume 2 servings of tuna steak (canned in water) which I drain and eat as is, with about half a lemon squeezed on it.
I do this twice during my working hours, which along with a couple of small cartons of semi fat milk, gives me around 150g of protein at work. (as well as my main lunch meal which has around 50g of protein)
What I have noticed is that as soon as I am finishing eating the tuna, my body tells me it wants something sweet so I usually grab a handful of candy or something.
I think that my body realises I need something to help with protein digestion, so it tells me to eat something sweet.
Do you reckon having a small amount of dextrose after each can of tuna will have any benefit?
Forgive me if I sound dumb, but I just eat lift and shit. I'm no expert.
DK?
