Ruhl might be the good candidate only if he could act. However in reality if such a movie is made, a fairly established movie actor play the role. Picking some German bodybuilder who can't act would not make much sense. Even if he looked similar to the character being portrayed.

If a Duke Nukem film is made(which it probably will be) then it will be a very expensive Hollywood blockbuster similar to "Doom" starring The Rock. This means that they would want to invest in a star who has at least a few movies under his belt. Arnold had numerous movies under his belt before he starred in the expensive pictures. As far as I know, Marcus Ruehl has no acting experience.

trust me those movies aren't made to win Oscars,lets take a look at doom it got horrible ratings.they are made for young teenagers and MD forum members you do not even need someone who knows how to talk in a movie like that;D

they aren't expecting the same sophisticated audience you would see at a movie like blood diamond,or city of god. video game movies are just made pretty much for the hell of making a movie.

Do you seriously believe the movie producers would hire a foreign bodybuilder with no acting experience to play the role of a major blockbuster movie? Doom had The Rock and it's ratings were still terrible. Imagine how much worse they would be if it weren't a well known wrestler with acting experience and instead an unknown Bodybuilder without acting experience.
