Bush calls for "timetable" and "exit strategy"
« on: May 01, 2007, 11:52:16 AM »
Just like Kerry - he was for it before he was against it

-------------------------

“Victory means exit strategy, and it’s important for the president to explain to us what the exit strategy is,” Bush said

“I think it’s also important for the president to lay out a timetable as to how long they will be involved and when they will be withdrawn.”

President Bush is incompetent.  Almost every step he's taken in this 'war' on terror has either been ineffective, counter-productive, or outright destructive to our way of life.

This is the most malevolently incompetent administration in modern history.

Did you hear what Sen. McConnell said on the Senate floor?  He referred to the proposed troop withdrawal timetable as "an arbitrary surrender date." http://news.kypost.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070426/NEWS02/704260351/1014/NEWS02

"Surrender". . .

Iraq did not attack the US

Iraq did not attack one of our allies

Iraq had no WMDs

What exactly is McConnell talking about?

To whom is the US surrendering?

Is the US going to continue to Police Iraq with the US military ad infinitum?

McConnell and Bush foolishly play with the lives of our military people.

They are what is wrong with this country:  compounded arrogance and ignorance.

The bright side of this is that enormous ammount of resources, both economic and human, can be invested in technological research and educational system on all levels, from kindergarten to university, to boost USA's economical power further in the future.
