Actually, I did answer your question:  "All of them are paid very well, because they are smart, have integrity, and work hard."  In other words, they didn't get to their positions by sleeping with "the boss."  And there isn't a single "boss."  The partners only achieve that status by a unanimous vote of all of the other male and female partners.
