I am back doing reg bench presses , after a long time on mostly hammer and related crap.
Feels good, I was not too great, worked up to 4 strict reps with 330 and didn't have any problems.
I want to get a single in a raw comp (no bench shirt ) with 400 some time. My best ever in the gym is 365 for 5 strict reps, no spotter hands on bar. I would love to do hvy deads again, but my low back says no, so benching will have to be the deal now.
It is fun to do some strength moves again, even as an old fart.
Any others enjoy some kind of strength /power training with bodybuilding?
