Badmotorfinger is a great kick ass hard rock album [NOT 'grunge' as some would have you believe], and the first Audioslave album had a couple of good tunes on it. Other than that he has wasted his talent, and is now a corporate guy blatantly aiming for the MOR market. He is a disgrace and should be killed.

Yeah his new album is horrendous. I listened to it on his Myspace page for free and only got thru half of it.

All the Soundgarden albums are good, but that's as much Kim Thayil as it is Cornell.

Soundgarden was fucking absolutely great. I saw them in 1996 at Lalapolooza in West Virginia when they were headlining with Metallica.

Awesome live performance. Kim Thayil was at his best. Unfotunately, a few asshole hick Metallica fans kept throwing water bottles at Ben Shepard, their bassist. Sheppard got so pissed off he stopped playing halfway through "Jesus Christ Pose" and got on the mic and told the crowd to go fuck themselves. And with that the band walked off stage 45 minutes into an hour set.

Never understood why those two bands were on the same bill. The fans there were new school and old school and didn't seem to get along too well.
