Those pics of Arnie are shortly after his heart surgery. c'mon give the ol' champs a break.
Nobody is going to make John Elway throw a TD pass now he is retired from the NFL to still respect what he did in his prime.

Big diff. Arnie was over 50 and had just had heart surgery. Deangelis wasn't that old and was still competing.

Jeff Mcfarland knows the story with the first set of pics. I posted that up years ago as a "what happened?!!?!?!" and he said something about a guest posing but recovering from all sorts of tears and sickness or something. If he looks at this thread he might respond.

How do you figure? There's no way to compare from that photo... you see the underside of Jay's arms and the tops of Ronnie's. Plus you can't see Jay's delts at all, and Ronnie is closer to the camera.

If you want to compare, put up a pic with them hitting an identical pose.
