BPH
« on: June 30, 2007, 06:09:16 PM »
before going on my first cycle, I had a physical and everything came back fine.  However, after being on test-e 750 mg week, test-prop- 100mg eod and deca 450 mg week, I am experiencing bph problems.  I had been taking proscar for hair loss, which is a treatment for bph as well.  I am going to up my dose to perhaps 5 mg day of proscar to see if that helps the bph while on the gear.  Anyone else have problems with their prostrate while on gear.

Yes I do as I have already said before.  Since we are older that works against us some.  I would bet there are plenty of people here who have the same issues but are either unaware or just afraid to admitt it for some reason.  See its one of those things about everything in the body there is no drug that causes no side effects.  No free lunches.

If it is truely BPH, which it usually is when on cycles then it will subside after you stop.  Its one way I tell how good my gear is by the way the BPH sets in.

My first cycle has really been a "learning" experience!!!  I wish I would have started with the gear about 15 years ago, at around 30.  Anyway, I am learning thanks to you guys on this Board as well as all the good threads and info on the net.  You are right I know several guys at the gym on gear that are close to my age but you never hear about the bph.  Well at least I know the gear is good and from now on I will know what to look for.  Maybe upping the proscar dosage a little will help with the bph sides as well as help with the hair retention.

BPH is nothing to fuck around with, Clayton.

Keep on top of that and make sure to get your regular PSA.

Urination should not be a chore.   :-X
