Not sure why at 31 Kimbo looks like he's 41. Talk about premature balding!  :P
I like Kimbo's work ethic. He's in there training hard with the best available trainers and willing to humble himself to learn things outside his element.

Kimbo's always entertained me by knockin' fools out in parking lots on video, so fuck da' haters. I hope Kimbo whoops Mercer's ass and goes on to bigger and better paydays.

nah, not a kimbo hater at all. imo, kimbo right from the beginning has always been humble and willing to learn. i think the reason no top level trainer has seriously taken him on until now is mainly because of how late he is in the game. this has not stopped kimbo though as, since being released from prison this man has said, "fuck it, if no one wants to believe in me, i'm going to make them believers my way." the risks he has taken (always very risky with backyard brawls. no real protection for the fighters ie ref, corners, structured rules, etc) have made me a believer.

if kimbo didn't take the fight with mercer, he'd be nuts. with ray he gets a huge name on his cv at greatly minimised risk. it's just a pit that ray is reduced to this. ray has paid his dues ten fold in the ring. kimbo, as tough as he is, is a novice street fighter.

it will be interesting to see how far kimbo goes though. the man has a ton of heart and has an absolute passion for fighting. in his only losing effort i saw a guy that just wouldn't quit and was humble as fuck in defeat. he just comes back better than ever. this is why people love to watch him, because he brings it every time and what you see if what you get, there is no bullshit.

Age and injuries will have an effect to how long, and lucrative his career is.

You are right, Beast, when it comes to Mercer. This is a pretty big fall for him to be fighting a guy like Kimbo for what must be 1/10 of what he was making in his prime. He must be pretty desperate for cash.  :-\

Not to be a dick, but, to me what is more important is being humble after victory which he has been (except for the Adryan fight which was just stupid) so in my opinion he gets credit for that.

It will be interesting to see how people are talking after this fight for sure.

Cool clip, but I didn't see where he owned Frank ???  They fought twice.  Frank won a majority decision the 1st time, Bas won a split the 2nd time...

You've got to be kidding...Bas EMBARRASSED Frank. Made him look like a little boy. And I'm a Frank Shamrock fan, except for that bullshit he pulled in the recent Renzo fight.

There is another guy in that clip that looks like Frank.  Like I said, Frank beat him in a unanimous decision, and then lost a split decision.  Hope that helps.
