Now before y'all pounce on me for asking a question that dumb, let me tell you where it came from. I picked up the August MD yesterday and this is the title of a two-page advertisement I noticed. It is promoting a product called "Anabolic Pump: THE Genetic Equalizer"... It also contains the testimonials of some "natural bodybuilders." (You'd think that the last thing that self-righteous 'naturals' want is for their food to turn into "steroids"!!!)
I know we do this often on Getbig, but perhaps we should make a more concerted effort to call out supplement companies on such preposterous claims. If we can save only one person from spending money on useless supplements, we will have succeeded!
Incidentally, the mag contains a very interesting interview with Evan Centopani. Very cool guy, and the pictures are taken against a nice beach background, instead of the usual claustrophobic gym set-up.
