People dont like Bonds because they are led around by the nose by the media. Not one f'n person on here EVER met Bonds, ever spoke to Bonds, ever delt with Bonds yet they know a lot about him. Why?Because the media says so.Little pukes like Jay Marriotti and Jim Rome and that midget Bob Costas say it,so it must be true. The reason the media hates him is because unlike that tap dancing negro ,Hank Aaron,Bonds doesnt say "yess sir boss, how high you want me to jump boss".Bonds tells the media exactly what they are, a bunch of little midgets living off of others talents.

yeah..bonds is just so loved by everyone outside the media.  class guy...tax evader, serial drug abuser...nominate him for man of the year.  i guess billy mimnaugh has met bonds and is tight with him? knows all about barry and his endearing qualities.  Everything written and said about Bonds cannot be all false...

Really?Tax evader?I dont see any indictment for that.I mean its been three grand juries now,THREE, and they still cant even get enough evidense to indict.Funny, but the expression is that "you can indict a ham sandwich".I guess though in those cases you actually need evidense, not the babblings of jerkoff reporters who think synthol is a drug or some little whore that is about to pose in Playboy.By the way,if Bonds is so despised how do you suppose he got voted on the all star team BY THE FANS!I guess, once again, the media has no clue of what they are talking about. Its also amusing that he plays in front of packed stadiums everywhere he goes.Hated?By whom.Besides the media.

What kills me is the steroid scandle bullshit. Steroids have been around since the early forties and since the early fifties atheletes in the olympics were experimenting with Nilevar and d-bol. Hell, even the german solders in ww2 during the war were given daily tablets and told to take them. Do you really think that they were hemmeroid pills or milk and magnesia? I don't think so. I call bullshit on any of the so-called "clean claims" of people saying that guys like Hank Aaron or anyone else in that era was clean. They just didn't get caught. Either way, the last time Bonds was tested he PASSED all the doping tests with flying colours and people still cried.

not just the media...yep,,,i guess michael vick was a ham sandwich...is that made up too?

check out dmitri young..seems like he cares about bonds a whole lot:

Washington's Dmitri Young didn't sound all that interested.

"The guy's chasing history. Whoop-de-do," he said. "If it was Ken Griffey, Jr., it would be a little more exciting."

curt schilling has hammered the guy too....it's not just the media...that's the biggest copout in the world...oh, it's the media's fault...the media is this..the media is that...i guess it was the media that made barry bonds' head grow three sizes in five years...

Prozac, Adderall, and Red Bull are all legal substances...bad examples but what can you expect from some west coast turd who bows at this clown's feet.

Bonds is and always will be a cheater..along with the rest of the pukes who took steroids and didn't get caught...don't compare willie mays or henry aaron to bonds because neither of them accomplished what the accomplished with the use and abuse of illegal substances.  Last time I checked Mark McGwire hasn't been seen in public because he is, along with the rest of the abusers, a cheater...he's also white..so it can hardly be ALL racist...be advised, I said ALL racist...I agree, some of it is, but what do you call fan backlash to McGwire, Palmeiro, etc.

He falls very short of making a convincing argument.
bullshit. its not cheating...what the fuck does it matter to you if a guy is on steroids?

baseball is aSPECTATOR sport. they make money because they ENTERTAIN people. the only reason baseball exists(on a pro level) is because people want to go watch the best players so they will be entertained and amazed and what they can do.

steroids makes the players better, the game more exciting, and baseball more ENTERTAINING.

saying steroids doesnt belong in baseball is like saying that the background music on american idol shouldnt be there either.  sure, the show might be a more accurate assessment of the singers, and sure, the show would still be watched. but ista much better program with the background music. because it is funner to watch, it is more entertaining, and it gets the t.v. show better ratings= more money...more money=equals better show.

steroids make baseball exciting again.
d[-_-]b actin all cool

I still am trying to understand why you think its a bad thing for  a guy who is 36-43 years old and  takes something to prolong and even improve his career is a bad thing
Monster Rationalization...haha  He's just trying to reverse aging...yeah, great excuse.  It's called life, you age and die.

Also, it is cheating, unless everyone partake in the illegal event.  Like pro bodybuiling, steroids aren't cheating...but synthol is?  ahah  Have to love bodybuilding where they say excessive drug use/gh use isn't cheating because everyone does it, however...synthol and calve impants are because only 40% do it.  What a bunch of clowns.
So for the record, Bonds is a cheating dirtbag.  Probably McGwire, as well.  They basically had no regard for the reputation of their families and simply thought about themselves and their career. It's a selfish act.  Whether or not 50% of baseball uses or not, it's a fucking shortcut, nothing more.  At least they have some talent, where as bodybuilders require absolutely none..haha

Wow,Curt Schilling said so.The guy is the most arrogant jerk off in baseball, absolutely despised around the league and by former teamates.Mike Vick was indicted,so were the kids from Duke.Turns out those kids did NOTHING and the whole thing was made up by a nappy headed ho.By the way, being indicted means nothing, its being found guilty that counts.Heres my prediction.Bonds will be indicted for perjury and his lawer will destroy the government and he will be found not guilty. He will NOT be indicted for tax evasion.By the way,ALL HAIL KING BARRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FREE GREG ANDERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I actually agree with 99% of what you say, I have met Barry, actually had the misfortune of hearing him talk to people right in front of me...And sorry.  He sucks as a person.  However....Greg Anderson is a stand up guy and a stand up father.  This whole bullshit sickens me.  Our government is proving once again that they need to use a scapegoat to prove their point.  We might as well start fighting fo territory again.  Ridiculous.  Well anyway, good for Bonds.  My Upper deck rookie card that I have will be worth something tomorrow.

Before my post gets mis-understood, what i'm trying to say is that I think a lot of average people that don't know would be very surprised and or disappointed to know that their favorite athelete is on some kind of perfomance enhancing drug. Some just don't get caught. Thats just the reality. You do not need to be huge and muscular to be on something. Just recently they had found a golfer who tested posative for deca. He used it for its joint healing capabilities. Look at tennis. Take a look at the William's sisters pics from a couple of years ago and take a look at recent photos. You'd be surprised.
