Max LMG
« on: August 10, 2007, 06:23:26 AM »
What is the truth about this supplement? I read in todays paper that Chicago Bears fullback Obafemi Ayanbadejo said he might sue the maker of this over-the-counter supplement after the NFL suspended him for the first four regular season games without pay for violating the leagues policy on anabolic steroids and related substances.

He states he used Max LMG which decreases estrogen levels and boosts testosterone for 3 weeks in January. He does acknowledge he should have sent a sample to the league for evaluation prior to using the product.

Is this BS? Did he just throw this over the counter thing out there to cover up real anabolic use?

Has anyone taken this product with any success?

BTW it is not available on the web sites I looked up - listed out of stock or discontinued.

That guy is an idiot who got caught. Anyone with half a brain can see that these "supplements" are not what they claim to be. Of course he is going to say he thought it was legit, what would you expect him to say. And just because the "supplement" manufacturer says it is legal, that just means it fell into a loophole with the AAS Control Act. Who knows what these compounds look like on urynalisis tests.  Check this out, a brief description of MAX LMG:
 http://www.bulknutrition.com/?products_id=1910
The active compound in Max LMG is 13-ethyl-3-methoxy-gona-2,5(10)-diene-17-one. I find it unlikely that there are very many aware of this structure, but it is certainly worth discussing. It is legal because it is a progestin, and before anyone thinks "birth-control", remember that trenbolone, nandrolone, methyltrienolone and Methyl-Dien are all progestins. I doubt anyone will dispute the effects of these compounds upon favorable body composition. But they do all have one bad effect to put an end to... (I should add as a relevant comparison that Clomid and Nolvadex are estrogens...and how many males have rid themselves of feminizing effects plus increased natural testosterone production with them?)

So in the opinion of board members here, is it safer to use true and tested AS products that have been around for a while vs. new untested supps? (legal / illegal debate aside)

The real crime is that the over-the-counter supps could be doing more damage than good.

Exactly. Alot of these new OTC "supplements"i.e.Superdrol, Max LMG, Halodrol, etc. are just variations of AAS that have been around for years. Guys fool themselves into thinking they are not taking an AAS just because they buy it from a supplement store. Get your liver enzymes checked after a cycle of some of the products listed above, I guarantee they will be more than likely be as high or higher than if you stay with the tried and true AAS that have been around since there inception.
