I think...man I don't know. if we weren't in Iraq...yes these guys probaby need to go...but we are in Iraq and we're spread pretty thin. While we're going to crush em...we're to big a target in Iraq and elsewhere once they activate their terror cells. The political and economic price will be pretty high in the short term. Privately I think most of the Arab world would prefer the nutbags in Iran to go. They foster to much dissent in Egypt/Jordan/Saudi Arabia etc....they can't come out publicly. I also think that if we do attack it will be reasoned out like this...Israel is demanding action..we will if u won't kinda thing...other arab nations will be willing to work with the US privately on numerous issues: the Palistian issue/Israel/war on terror if we can keep Israel from going off the reservation...thus we're almost being forced to act before all hell breaks loose. I get all kinds of think tank reports...small 10 page publications that come across my desk etc from obscure organizations. They all say the same thing...it looks like we're going down that road. Most are not happy about the 2nd order affects and I've not seen one that was completely for war..and these are the groups advising the President. I link them here when I can.
