Huge Jackman was 200lb in X-men, practically every guy on the street weighs this these days. Zane was great but no-one would tolerate a Mr O smaller than most highschool guys who lift in this day and age when over 1 million American teenagers are juiced.

All those guys are nowhere near Frank Zane's condition and would get raped onstage.

Shawn Ray got robbed twice.  Zane, Dickerson, and Columbo did it - but today, none of them - including Zane - would crack top 3 at an Olympia again.  Zane has perfect lines here but he wouldn't make top 10 looking like this.
Times have changed. The difference is back then you had big guys who were ripped at 225lbs tops. Now you have guys clocking in at 280lbs ripped. Different times.

Last time I was under 200 was in 87 when I won the Nationals :-\
I competed between 206 and 215lbs my entire Pro Career.
Those extra pounds made all the difference by comparision to 200lbs. ;D
It's all an Illusion anyway, weight never factored into my training or my appearance as a Pro so I never really cared about weight classes :-\

I would say the only real chance for the olympia at under 200 would be

Ronny Rockell i think under 200
David Henry
Silvio Samule

Previously you said Labrada was better than shawn; so y wont Labrada win an O??
You always conflict with yourself with time,, that shows what kind of insecure fake you are

Not a meltdown but insulting people’s intelligence and taking people for granted is a act of desperation

you better go back to my 1000 posts on getbig.com and read them again because you seem to forgot your brain somewhere,,

labrada was tooooooooooooooooooooooo oooo short to win olympia,,it wasnt the way he looked ,,he indeed was and still is 10 top bodybuilders in the bodybuilding history,,but 5'6 5'7 5'9 is not 5''5 or under,,5'5 or under can not and will not win an olympia due to height,,5'6-5'7 is very short and only ray could pull it,,over 5'8 preferably 5'9 510 511 6 feet is what you want as mr o frame

now go on an order your hormones via insecure people :D

most highschool kids are fat now days,,especially usa kids,,the 200lb they carry on them has 20% bodyfat if not more,,they may look like frank zane bodyfat% if they dieted down to about 145lb,,condition like his they wont have because the muscle is not developed enough,,,so no hichschool kids in usa do not look like bodybuilders or fitness models because the moment they take their shirt off there is nothing under beside flab

also americans are fat and average weight for a male is indeed 180lb-190lb in usa but it has 18-20% bodyfat in it in most cases,,that is no bodybuilder

you got to be able to see top 4 abs at the least on your physiqe to be considered anything in bodybuilding,,can be flexed but top 4 gotta be there at the least,,outlines of abs gotta be there,,no abs at all = too fat even if you have big toned arms

That's a good point.  I suppose if a pro today were 5'1" (hi, Lee!!) he could hit the under-200 mark and still look as big as the other guys on stage, proportionate-wise anyway.

I think part of the issue with going back to height or weight classes for the powers that be - and to be honest I'm all for it in the hopes that it would curb some of the more abuseful things these guys do with the drugs/injections - is that if you indeed have a ripped smaller man with a tiny waist and good proportion and he loses the overall to a ripped larger man with bloated waist and weak (comparative) proportion, that would only create greater controversy and heartache for the judging panel and the federation.  In other words, it would have the potential to create more dissent about judging and standards and what-not and further polarize the sport.  Having separate contests based on height/weight is not a bad idea and it's obviously being experimented with, but I can't say it improves things over a unified contest, making that my third choice.

When I competed in the 1987 Nationals, I weighed in at 197 1/4lbs.
I hit the stage around 202lbs ;D

Ohhh...... to be 20 years younger again, and lighter ;D
