I loved my 67 Firebird.  Everyone loved it going down the street.  The 935 was a head turner going down Kalakaua Ave in Waikiki.  But my favorite cars were both my jeeps (CJ 7 and Cherokee).  I just like being able to go off road when I wanted.  The Bronco was my first car in Hawaii.  I've had so many cars.  When I finish my move I will scan my partners candy apple red street legal Porsche 961.  Now thats a car.

I have a question..... why don't they design "normal cars" like this? there are far to many boring cars out there, even if it wouldn't be as fast it would still look better.

making a body like that does not come cheap.  it probably is more feasible now, but back in the day, bodywork for cars like that was
 handmade.

I have a question..... why don't they design "normal cars" like this? there are far to many boring cars out there, even if it wouldn't be as fast it would still look better.

Plus, if normal cars looked like Ferrari's, CCX's, it would take the cache of owning one away. Everybody would have one. Plus the body work is because of a certain performance envelope that a "normal" car is not designed for. For supercars to approach the speeds that they are capable of, there is endless testing in a wind tunnel, to determine downforce, lift, coefficient of drag (CoD), and how to squeeze air in and around components like brakes, air intakes, air outlets, etc. Things that people who drive "normal" cars care little about or really need.

Is one going to do 155 mph average going to the store down the street in a Toyota Corrolla?   As opposed to a Porsche 911 on the autobahn?

I love the porsche design. Wide body turbo with the deep shell wheels is nice.  They are starting to become cookie cutter though. You know what I mean? It's like get some money , buy a porsche. You see a lambo or a 430 and you think exclusive. You see a 911 turbo and you say mehhhh.

The caymen is fantastic looking.
