Which rookies will fair the best this weekend? (thanks to flexonline for posting this list).

I've gotta go with Oksana in fitness with Julie Lohre in the mix as well. Two great additions to the fitness O stage.

To the Olympia stage, yes.

Danielle has never been to the Olympia, which I think is what he means.  So yes.

On the fitness side we think Julie, Myriam and Oksana will have the biggest impacts.  It's hard to think of Julie as a rookie she is so polished and has been so successful!  Myriam brings a completely different look but that's something the show needs - she represents for the gymnasts.

In figure, Sonia Adcock and Zivile are no-brainers and not just for their physiques.  MaryJo Cooke is a sweetheart and will do well.  Natalie has a gorgeous body but it depends on how much muscle they will accept - we hope she makes the top ten.  We think Amy Fry and Heather Green will present two of the best packages of the night but we'll see what the judges think.

Well again, my votes for Natalie. I love her muscularity. She should fit in great right next to Mo.  I am not a huge fan of Sonia's physique. However, she is one of the most beautiful competitors on the stage, IMO, I just don't think her physique is an Olympian top 10. The judges seem to love her so I am sure she will make top 10.

Wish I could see Oksana's compete, I think her look and physique are beautiful.

No offense, but...

Myriam has a great routine but will be in the very last callouts in the physique rounds. Her physique is not Olympia caliber. Oksana will bring down the house and a real threat to the top 6.

Zivile is beautiful and has a nice physique but I think she'll get lost in this lineup. Again no offense, Mary Jo is a sweet heart but there is no personality round on the Olympia stage.    She won't crack the top 10 in this lineup. Amy Fry and Heather are good but will be on the outside looking in on the top 10 as well.

Mabell - why aren't you going to the finals? That Cytosport party going to have you too tipsy?

Gina Aliotti is not a rookie really but she is going to step up this year no doubt as she has added that bit of extra muscle she needed. If they forget the height difference I think Jen Gates has an amazing physique (then again all the women on this level do) and can make the top 6-7 I believe. Ziville is good but I think she needs a bit more muscle in the legs.

What about the previous statements saying that Zivile is being "groomed" by the IFBB?  I'm not a big fan of her physique (great shape but needs more mass) but I've heard that there's a big push to see more international talent near the top at the Olympia.  I'm not privy to anything more than that.

As for Myriam, Heather and Amy - definitely should have stated that those are preferences rather than what we expect to see.  I know that those are personal prefences just pulling really hard for them.    Although I really do think Amy Fry does get seriously overlooked sometimes, she has an amazing physique for someone so tall.

Jen, I love her physique for the most part, I'd just like to see her lats flare out more, like Laticia's which I guess means tightening up the center of her back so the widening occurs at the top and not the middle.  Not a criticism just a personal physique preference, seeing that V-flare out from the waist up to the lats.

As far as the Fitness Olympia rookies go, GOTTA go with Julie Lohre.  She's a total package competitor and can hold her own with the sport's best in all four rounds.

What is it you prefer about Myriam's physique?

How can you say Amy Fry gets overlooked? Considering she turned pro at the 2006 Figure Nationals, I'd say she's getting a great look in her first year in the IFBB.

Mo is an icon in the industry, what can you say. There have been at least one if not two Arnolds I thought she should have won. Monica told me yesterday she is ready and is looking forward to competing. Anyone attending "Meet the Olympians" tomorrow night will see she always has the longest line for females.

Mary did look behind at the Arkansas show but anything can happen in a few weeks.

I feel like shutting up, waiting to see what happens, and then writing about it like I knew all along.  

I think with Myriam I'm just happy to see a gymnast physique, to shake things up.  I think she will surprise some people, which in this case might mean finishing well ahead of the athlete who beat her at Worlds.  I like diversity too, so the fact that Myriam is from Quebec is a cool thing too.

Amy - I think she should have won a pro show or two in 2007 before reaching this point, but you can see from the makeup of our figure team that there is a bias toward tall athletes who can carry muscle well.
