Smooth isn't the word for it, rule of thumb when getting ready for a BBing contest is to diet....seems he neglected that part of his training. Another rule of thumb is to not step on a stage at over 10% BF

 i would agree but I bet he was just testing the waters in the super to see how he stacked up size wise.

Here is one of my quads about a month ago and of me training about 2 weeks ago. I have a bulging disk in my lower back so i have been dealing with that.

thanks - hurts like hell, living on pain killers and can't sleep good. But working with a good doctor and chiro to try and fix this.

This guy is a beast, you can see it in his stare.  Epic horse constitution as well, no doubt about it.  I bet he won't look so druggy properly peeled though; be looking for this guy in the future.  He's gonna be popular in the sport regardless of his placing, from here they'll see to it that he has everything he needs to go farther.  It was a successful showing for him for just that much.

Sucks man. I have a slight bent of the lumbar sline myself and can't squat..   Bulging disc sounds serious.

My back hurts just reading your post.  How can you lift a finger much less continue to train through all this?  You’re a god damn Superman--with the legs to prove it!  My hats off to you.

It has been tough! After back and leg days I have a lot of pain. So am trying to space those days farther apart and I go to the chiro and massage the day after. Thanks for your concern!
