MD reminds me of a Cult

Why is MD so obscure?  I don't mean this as an insult, but its almost like a cult.  If you go to their website, its a bunch of people who are on the MD payroll pledging their support to MD and kissing the bosses ass.   Its borderline creepy.  When you come here it seems more diverse and representative of the overall fans.  When you go to MD.com its like a bunch of MD People just trying to keep their contracts and grease each other.  Just an observation.  I subscribe to MD, Flex and MuscleMag.  But the MD act is getting weird.  I'll stick with Getbig.  Unless MD wants to put me on the payroll also :)   Show me the money!

Getbig still ranks way higher than the other boards in traffic and visitors.  Here's the Alexa rankings. (Lower number = higher traffic)

 

GetBig - 25,270
FlexOnline - 32,863
MuscularDevelopment - 40,259

No matter what MD does, they are still miles behind GetBig in traffic.  Funny that Flex's website (even though its pretty lame) is still ranking higher than MD's site.  Thats a lot of MD dollars going down the drain.

pretty cool when a kid makes a website in his basement and still kicks the crap out of the millionaire's website.  GetBig defeats Flex and MD!   ;D  Way to go GETBIG.  The people have spoken!

I think that these stas might be misleading. (Not that I'm defending MD or anything :))

Doesn't Alexa only track "hits" if you have their toolbar and spyware installed ?

Yes, Alexa tracks only users who submit to their data collection.

I very much doubt MD has as much traffic as Getbig as it is fairly new.

Those numbers are traffic rankings (compared to other websites).  The LOWER the ranking means the HIGHER the traffic.  The Alexa ranking for GetBig is better than the ranking for both Flex and MD.  GetBig crushes both of them.  And Flex beats MD.  GetBig pulls some serious traffic being listed in the top 25,000 of all websites.

i used to read MD all the time, i thought it was great, but now i realised that all the articles are the same and they have amatures answering questions. (yes i know it took me a while)... i read the last issue of flex and i doubt it ever buy another copy of MD again... kinda said
