It's not an if but when will the Birdvirus go airborne and infect millions of people who will subsequently perish.
Don't be the one that has to barricade himself in his apartment or house when Society breaks down and law and order doesn't exist anymore, these people will become victims to the circumstances and will have no chance to survive.
In order to survive a major breakdown in society as we know it you need to go back to the roots, you need to learn to life of the land, some people call it bushcrafting other survival, I call it Primitive living, and only if you are dedicated enough and do something NOW you will have a chance.

So if you want to have a chance to survive all this you need to have your priorties straight:

1) Train for strengh power and speed, forget to look like one of these bodybuilders, what you think a 300lbs guy will stand any chance running away from a mountain lion?
2) Don't diet for month forget that bullshit 10% bf, you will need a healthy amount of fat, I'm not saying to go fat thats the other extreme, but balance your weight.
3) (i cannot stress this enough) For cardio go hiking with a heavy backpack (EVERY WEEKEND FROM NOW) , with this you can cover a couple of keypoint that are important, first your fitness level will increase you have no idea how many fit people I take onto my hikes and they fold completely when the try to climb up the first major hill, you need to be in a fitness level so you are comfortable hiking a lot of weight to your basecamp, furthermore you will cover your sourounding country side, this will ensure that you will know your "backyard" now where water food and game is, all this will be helpful when you have to ditch society and your house for an (at first) uncomfortable way of life in the wild.
4) Don't eat too much now, you will need to be able to starve yourself but function neverless, most people are completely useless when they had no food for 3 days, you need to train yourself to exceed even without food, remember only the strong will survive.
5) Remember the 4 x 3 a human can exist for 3 min without air, 3 hours (give or take) without propper cover in cold weather 3 days without water (again depends on the area and clima) and 3 month without food.

It's not going to be the end of the world, but the end of fat living for us, we will have to go back to ways of living that are more in tune with nature, men will become hunters once more.
