liver pain
« on: December 28, 2007, 11:55:36 PM »
ok so i know this was probably a pretty fuckin stupid idea of mine and i did post a question about this on the board a few weeks ago but im currently taking accutane, 40mg a day. i had been dieting for about 8 weeks started takin winstrol about 3 weeks ago 60mg a day just to give me a bit extra before goin to thailand in a week. also been takin clen for about a week now too. anyway last few days ive had a very slight pain on the right side of my abdomen nere the ribs maybe a little lower, kind of comes and goes almost feels like a very minor stitch. should i be worried?? planned to stop winstrol in 5 more days (the day i leave) considering i plan to do alot of drinking over there also am i going to be risking any kind of serious liver damage, should i get my bloodwork done before going??

Man everything I heard about acutane has been bad.  I would stay away from that stuff, especially while taking gear!  FreakfestMD has posted alot about accutane and from what I gathered he hated the stuff about to the point of saying it was dangerous.

If you dont have insurance you could get blood panels dont over there very cheap in compare to
USA or Europe.

Bangkok has great medical care at bargin mart prices.

A drinking trip and oral steroids dont mix.
If your a drinker, its going to be real hard NOT to drink over there.

How much drinking & other drugs do you do? If it causing pain(s) you should probably stop sooner rather then later.

Stop all meds and see a doctor.

i've used accutane and it's not something to fuck with, it can mess you up.

I've never used it but from what I've read it's some pretty harsh shit. I wouldn't use that on top of any oral AAS & along with clen. You're just asking for trouble.

When i used it 3 years ago i had to get blood work done before they let me use it.

I didn't drink or use any sort of AAS while on it for 6 months. it knocked my acne down about 60% but never got rid of it.

Are you nuts!?!?!?!?!?!  You can't take accutane with any anabolics unless you want to die!  Hope this helps. :-\

First how do you know that it is your liver that is hurting?  Can you actually feal liver pain????  Anyway I wouldn't worry, you can't create that much of a long term problem just from one little cycle you are doing along with the accutane, it has to be a life long abuse of it that can cause problems.

JT  yur prolly right, but even OTC drugs can cause serious problems to someone w/ the right underlying condits.

He should get checked out by a Dr and tell them waht hes been on.

As far as I know you can't feel the liver itself - no pain receptors. If there is pain it's referential, ie the surrounding tissue that hurts.

True, the liver itself doesn't have pain nerves.  But there are nerves around the tissue that surrounds the liver.  So, if the liver becomes inflamed or enlarged, the liver can press on those nerves which may cause a pain sensation.  Hep-C patients complain of "liver pain" all the time.
