Anyone here ever meet or have any contact with Arthur Jones? The man was truly a genius, and I guess that back in the day he was accessible to a select few bodybuilders and strength athletes.

You can read posts from Dr. Ellington Darden who was good friends with him and perhaps knew him better than any person outside of the Jones family at drdarden.com

Although Vince "Smelly Ol' Bastard" Basile never actually had any dealings with Art Jones, you can probably expect him to chime in on this thread fairly soon. 8)

You see, he and Arthur both were "students of hypertrophy".

That is "evident". The "bottom line" is that hypertrophy can be established, and that much is known, perhaps in a month an arm can grow 10 inches!!!


But no. Vince Basile knows jack and shit about Arthur Jones, even though he likes to pretend he does.

He also likes to bring up that both he and Jones builds training equipment.

For some "strange" reason, Jones made it big with Nautilus and MedEx, while Basile chose to keep his business a little smaller.

thanks bro! and as far as vince basile being a "student of hypertrophy".... well, i seem to remember reading a bit about his ideas regarding hypertrophy and believe me arthur would have had a field day with this fella ;)
