Doesn't matter to me so long as they don't mess with Lost.

It does seem that the writers have overestimated their importance.

Well, unscripted TV shows are just starting to run out of episodes. The award season is a disaster, the late night shows are doing OK, but took a 9 week hit. Eventually there won't be any new movies coming out either. Can you imagine what will happen in the fall if there are no new unscripted shows and no movies coming out. Personally I like reality shows, but there are a few shows like Lost that I am going to REALLY miss.

What might happen is that a few more people may actually try going to the gym, reading, or any number of other constructive pursuits (I say these things as I enter my fifth or sixth consecutive hour online)...

Network television is already losing viewers to the Net. It would be nice to think that people are going to do other things like go to the gym, but I have a feeling people will just surf the net more and play more videogames.
