« on: January 26, 2008, 04:23:04 AM »
Man this is hte second kind of RTD that I have bought ever and whats the deal...THEY ARE NOT READY TO DRINK....it comes in a package that is way to wide to get it into a water bottle and even to wide for most shaker cups...someone needs to send these fucking companies a memo to get with the program....on the flip side the RTD i bought is the isopure mrp flavor peanutbutter swirl or something liek that and it tastes fucking delicious....

A RTD is just that.  Ready to Drink.  There should be no need to put into a water bottle or shaker cup.

thats what im sayin princess...i mean the package is so wide you have to like only tear a corner and dump into the shaker bottle so you gotta sit their for like 5 minutes tapping it out of the package its ridiculous.....i just saw that true protein has rtd that appear to be actualy bottles that you just have to add water but i dont know i cant stand their flavors....

thats a good point but its still one step closer to rtd with it in bottles then it being in friggen packets that are way to wide for anything at least the flavor is so good....in my experiences the few rtd protein mixes ive had that were liquid tasted beyond bad...

bye the way the rtd was isopure by natures best..and after a little more research it is the best one it has the best option for protein being an isloate for like 50 grams and it has liek 30 grams of carbs mostly in maltodextrin form which are good for postworkout...which is what i have been drinking it for...out of all the other protein or mrp rtd this has the most protein and carbs and is a pretty descent price...and the peanut butter tastes great

Labrada has a great one also - half the fat as the Muscle Milk variety (which are the best tasting by far).  You are not supposed to dump them into a shaker cup they are meant to be drank as is (RTD stands for Ready To Drink!).  Shake them well before opening and the contents will not get stuck on the bottom (unless they have been sitting on the shelf for too long).  IDS and CNP both have awesome fruit-flavored RTDs made with 100% whey isolate.

Are you sure you're not confusing an RTD with an MRP?  Although...  :-\ an MRP can be a RTD and vice versa, but an RTD must be RTD or it's not an RTD!  ;D

Check out ABB’s line of drinks.
They have high protein blends, straight whey, mass formulas, carb formulas, energy stimulants, etc.
And they’re ALL liquid form in bottle or can.

Just open and drink.

I’ve tried most of them and have been pleased with the taste.

So you can't rip a slice off a top. Then fold it a little and then empty it in your shaker?

Or how about ripping off a piece from a corner?

 ???

yea i rip off the corner and tap it into the shaker bottle but it would be close to impossible to get into a water bottle....thanks for the helpful tip  ::)
