turned on the repub debate the other day. what were they talking about? the need to build a border fence. seriously a border fence, along the entire mexican border. this will keep the mexicans out. have you seen the plans for this fence? does it even need to be explained how fucking stupid this idea is? yet they all sat up there with a straight face talking about the need for one.
what do they talk about next? finding and rounding up anyone who entered the country illegally, and deporting them back, even if they have been here for years and have established lives. not only will this obviously not work, but it would be an enormous waste of resources and wont solve anything. it will be as worthless and wasteful as the government's anti drug campaign. yet this is a priority of theirs.
they also beleive it to be a horrible idea to pull out of iraq. they want to stay there, continue the status quo indefinitely, expand even.
they run on platforms such as 'finding bin laden'
, constantly stress how much danger we are all in constantly from 'the terrorists' who hate us 'because we are free'
, they basically have fucking retarded priorities, go about basic things in a laughably stupid way, thrive off of fear mongering plain and simple, and are probable corporate whores as well. who supports these people seriously???
