A Complaint (Jezebel) About a Friend Who Now Is A Fitness Freak

Most of my friends have gotten really into fitness and crash diets lately. They work out like crazy and post Facebook photos of all their "healthy" foods. That's well and good, but one of them has started to really get on my nerves. She called my snack "unhealthy crap," made fun of me for not wanting to go on a morning jog on our camping trip, and put up a status update that read, "Love my spinning workout! Fat and lazy people don't know what they're missing!" I called her out on the "fat and lazy people" comment, and she told me that if I found it offensive, I had self-esteem issues. This girl used to be fun. What the hell do I do now?

Getting in shape is no big deal, but our society treats people like kings and queens for doing what they should have been doing all along.

They don't shut up about their new "lifestyle" and feel they are qualified to give absolutely everyone advice.

Most fit people I know always give out advice and what "works"......and of course it works for everyone because it worked for them.  

Don't give advice unless asked. Let people live their lives the way they want. You aren't "inspirational" because you are in shape.

Intagram is full of women posing in their workout "outfits",posing etc..  I call it DLB syndrome.
