Which out of all the candidates do not have any issues with dietary supplements or hormones?  As I recall, McCain and Clinton both are against them... havent heard that much about Obama's views, but then again I'm not following this thing too closely... I just want the frekkin witch hunting to stop:)

I'd say vote for Ron Paul, but since the media isn't going to let him win, vote for Crazy John...  he's better than Billary or the spook.

the decriminalization of drugs is very different than the regulation of the bogus claims made by supplement companies.

True... and I'm all for regulating bogus claims.  I just don't want the industry to infringe upon our right to purchase (CODEX comes to mind, although I don't know how legit that whole idea is).  As far as hormones and drugs go, they should all be put under doctor supervision, (regardless of the good doctor/bad doctor thing) simply because it would save the economy BILLIONS in taxes used to fill more prisons with people who want to use hormones or have an occasional herbal smoke, and the so-called drug war (that will NEVER be won).  Especially hormones... I realize that there are anti-aging clinics around, but they are in the govornment's witch hunt as well.  It would also cut back on alot of crime and clean up bogus, tainted or even deadly drugs on the black market that are sold and regarded as "legit, pharmaceutical grade" when in fact are made in dirty basement labs, or even replaced with deadly substances.

Gh15 says John McCain.  No use discussing Mike Gravel in this conversation, because at this point he can't win.

Wasn't McCain one of the senators that were so for criminalizing performance enhancing supplements like creatine (along with Sen. Durbin) a few years ago?
