It sounds funny, but it sort of makes sense when you break it down. It goes without saying that McCain is to the left of Huckabee and Romney, and anyone antiwar who votes in a Republican primary is more likely to be a "moderate to liberal" Republican. Take away the war issue, and they're likely to agree with McCain on pretty much everything else. I think it's just a strange coincidence more than cause and effect.

Makes sense....Mccain will have to get more Center right if he wants to win the nomination. The Conservatives are going nuts, I'm one but I'm more worried with foreign policy right now.

What happened to real Republicans? It's getting harder and harder to tell the difference between either party.
