A "breakthrough" has been reached between the striking writers and the big media moguls, the Hollywood Reporter is reporting.

An agreement is expected by the end of this coming week.

The Oscars will go on! Yay!!!!

I don't know yet, if the strike ends I am guessing they will be able to salvage this season. Maybe late summer instead of early summer. I am sure there will be more news tomorrow. All the good sites are covering the SB right now pretty much.
