What's funny is how this became a race issue, with fans divided along racial lines.  I'm sorry.  Gaining 40 lbs in one summer is something that only an idiot can ignore.  Hopefully the record goes back to Big Mac.

LMAO!  Yeah...McGwire was CLEAN  ::)

It was a pretty good cover-up scheme at the time.

Place a legal supplement in plain view for reporters to see.  You know at least one of them is gonna notice it and report on it.  Takes the attention away from the massive amounts of gear he was on for several years as the public is too stupid to realize it's a cover-up.

But McGwire isn't here "to talk about the past..."

I just saw the very same on fox sports.. hahahaha

He's guilty. AND his case is more important than Clemens, as he's the homerun king.

There goes the defense that his beloved fans always held. hahahahaha

This is news?
I am amazed that mdeia and avg fan didn't know how obvious this was....ho hum

False alarm.  They misprinted the report and it only deals with a failed 2000 drug test.

You're right cap 86...all the hoopla was because of a misprint by the feds in court documents.  Regardless, it just gives way to the gov't being able to come down on athletes who use...even if the use was before steriods became illegal.  Just another excuse on why the gov't is pissed on not being able to collect taxes on products...that's basically the bottom line.  You would think they'd find another more alarming problem to deal with than steriod abuse amongst athletes.

Because Big Mac went before Congress and vehemently denied his steroid use like an innocent man (or crazy man, in Clemens' case) would?   ::)

They're all juicing.  Roger Maris was clean.
Are you sure? I thought he refused to talk about the past when they would ask him....not certain but I thought he just refused to answer.
