hehe Thin Lizzy-nice. It is pretty well known that females legs are their strongest bodypart comparable to a males...
I am not saying a 130 pound female can lift the same amount as a 130 male but our leg lifts should be much more comparable then our upper bodies.
I took a look the squat record lists on the Powerlifting USA site. The men's record at 130lbs is ~40% greater than the women's. So, a 300lb squat by a 130lb NATURAL woman is the equivalent of a 420lb squat by a NATURAL man of the same weight.
In my off-season that year I weighed 140-145. I don't clain to be natural, I am natural and have been polygraphed and urine tested...I do compete in many natural federations.
In a sport where steroid use is so absurdly rampant, no one who claims natural status is above suspicion, whether it's fair or not.
There are a few guys on the boards that lift at my gyms and have seen me do legs. They have seen me rep out 285, for me that is much more comfortable then screwing with a max and potentially really injuring myself.
Does this repping out involve "The Boyfriend" standing alongside you underneath the bar? I don't believe that you can do a single Bodybuilding rep with 285. I'm talking about feet shoulder-width, back not rounded, below parallel, taking the bar off the rack by yourself with no boyfriend or assorted schmoes spotting you from behind and telling you that you did all the work.
