One other thing that pissed me off is part of this hearing was about only a few injections..NOT a few cycles, if it IS true that it was only a FEW injections over a period of time, it would vertually have NO effect on performance or recovery. I heard an interview with someone who said that Pettite said the reason why he took it was for recovery, ok, fine, I get that, but he went on to say (and I'm paraphrasing) "I took HGH because if I hadn't I wouldn't have struck out as many batters if I did not take it!). If that is truly what he said and he claimed to have only taken a few injections (not cycles) it wouldn't have made a damn bit of difference

it's completely idiotic to have this trial in the first place, as I doubt Congress' time should be spent on whether one guy got 3 shots of hgh, 6 years ago.

but it's more idiotic to lie.  under oath.  pettite admitted to it, and he ain't going to jail.  Being a multimillionaire, retiring a legend and living the good life wasn't enough for clemens... he had to try to lie.

What I think is BS is that Pettite, that is actually coming clean about what he did, is getting shit.

He stood up and told what went on, instead of lying like a little bitch.

First mistake, having someone else inject him.  His second mistake was to deny it.  He should have said, as part of his therapy, he did take a few injections to help him recover from an injury.  Not for an extended period of to enhance his performance, but for a very short time to aid the healing of his injury.  Furthermore, based on his experience, he would recommended that any injured athlete consider doing it.  This would have left those congressional idiots dumbfounded.  I think he is denying it because it will effect his chances for the Hall of Fame and put a black mark on him being considered the best pitcher in baseball's history.

Petite admitted to taking hgh a few injections no cycle so its like coach said that would not have done anything to his recovery he didnt do it long enough but no one says that on tv these poeple don not do their research about this stuff first

petite admitted to taking it once for an injury, it has come about now that he apparently has taken it 3 seperate times once when he was in houston with a trainer or someone tied to one2one fitness or training i cant remember. Petite is lying his ass off too only admitting to what they can prove hes done. The only reason hes not getting in trouble is b/c they want him to get clemens
