GUNS N ROSES!!!!!

heard a good metal song on the radio today. i was like, who was that, that doesnt sound like the generic, formula-rock-by-the-numbers shit that has dominated for the last 15 years. TURNS OUT IT WAS THE NEW SINGLE FROM AXL ROSEGUNS N ROSES!!!!
it confirmed my suspicion that all along, GnR WAS Axl Rose. SLASH was one of the best rock guitarists ever...but only while in the framework of Axl's songs. Velvet Revolver produced nothing significant , just a bunch of washed up middle-aged rock legends sounding like middle-aged washed up rockers trying desperately to make music like they did when they actually had the fire. Slash in GnR-an all time legend. Slash without Axl = nothing notable.

anyways i think the moral is, AXL always was GnR and now that he has finished his album GnR mite be back as the greatest modern flagship of true rock around today. or maybe im just drunk

i dont think it was anything special... the good part i guess is that axl sounds alright still and i think buckethead does the guitar solos...
axl needs to get the album out as soon as possible and start having fun again and not be obsessed with it

it was good. but for the amount of time and hype behind this album it will be hard for it to live up to expectations. what is it ten years in the making or more? i thought bucket head left the group? maybe wrong i quite following gnr about five years ago. cant wait forever.

yeah i think buckethead left

axl needs to get this album out and then start doing shows, touring etc than teaming up with buckethead again... maybe do a song or two with izzy and others and get into the studio again without feeling pressure and just do it... hell i bet it didnt take too long to put some of their first albums together...
there's a risk with bands like this to over-produce stuff and spend too much time in the studio they should just rock it out for a month and be done with it and move on...
the whole concept of making a full album isnt the same these days anyway... he should just put out songs one after another and put them on the net.
