Opiate based drugs can not be compared to steroids, period.

Opiate based drugs fuck up a lot of people.. Sadly, no one gives a shit as opiates are mostly used by the upper class or outcasts of society.. The wealthy getting high on codine is not something people tend to look at.

But someone who wants to build a larged muscle physique, or smoke a joint on his front porch is a hardcore criminal. 

The war on drugs is a failure. It's been proven to cause more damage than prevent. It's pathetic how so many are too stupid to understand this.

Steroids technically never kills anyone.  However, they do cause health problems in the long run.
