Standing alone, this guy looks like the best bodybuilder in history. Anyone have older pics of him in the lineups against guys like haney and Gaspari, so we can see what he looked like being 8 inches shorter than everyone else?

Well considering he's never placed out of the top 5 in any Olympia he's been in and a one or two second places and beating Shawn Ray in the process....I'd have to say it really doesn't matter how big he was now does it?

Bodybuilding has definatly lost its way since then!

He was great, but he had weak calves and a relativly weak back.

Lee looks great-always in condition and flawless flowing shape.

Problem is he is only 5'5 and 185# on contest day.

When you have Lee Haney at 5'11 245# and Rich Gaspari at 5'8 and 220# (with estra ordinary hardness) then you have an uphill battle.

that's what I was interested in seeing - pics where he was getting destroyed, to justify him placing lower. I've seen pics of haney and gaspari standing alone, and they don't look as good as labrada. however if they totally kill him side by side in person, I can see that.

he's pwning the fuck out of levrone in that pic up there. And levrone was better than gaspari....

You should have seen when Mike was announced fourth on the DVD. You could see the disappointment on his face. Kind of like when Vince Taylor lost the 2002 Master's Mr. Olympia:

I think Lee Haney, Rich Gaspari, and Mike Christian were all very close. I would have had Lee in fourth. I would have had Rich winning in and Mike in second, although an easy argument for Haney beating Mike would be due to his superior lower body size. That said, Mike was robbed by placing behind Labrada and he knew it.

Standing on his own Lee looks like Mr.Olympia,Mr.Perfect! BUT the problem was that he lost front double b.pose to the most olympia competitors.

when they did their routines, all of them looked like meatheads compared to Lee's most artistic posing. Hope that helps.
