20 weeks Out
Well, here we are (I honestly never thought this would happen, but here it is - I'm starting a journal On-Line for my journey to the 2008 Fitness and Figure Nationals)

I trained with Sandra Wickham and Ross Webb and competed in my first competition in 2006 (SWFC, of course) for figure. I placed 4th in my category, and that was good, but not good enough for me. I decided that night to train harder and compete in Fort St John. Again Team Wickham kicked I disagree into wicked shape  and I placed 2nd in my category . I qualified for the 2007 Provincials, where yet again Team Wickham and my amazing trainers   saw me place an amazing 3rd  . (Watching the videos of my last two competitions is hilarious. Having diet brain and doing the math in my head on stage when they call out 5th and 4th, and they still have not called your number or name and you realize you just placed top 3 - way too funny)

Anyway this will be my first ever Nationals competition. I'm crazy excited, but nervous too. Sandra is doing an amazing job as always of keeping me motivated, working me hard, and frankly being the best trainer and friend ever!!!!

Work-Out:  I just got my new program the weekend. Since it was Easter Weekend, I planned my cheat meal for Sunday night and boy oh boy was it good. (It also may have had something to do with the fact that I knew I was about to have I disagree kicked on Monday). When I read over my program, I thought this would be good - well holy nuts after today, do I aches. I both cursed Sandra's name and praised it all at once. (just kidding - it was awesome to really feel the workout again)

Diet:I have been good on my on-season (with a few moments that will go un-mentioned), but with the on-season comes focus, dedication, and a whole lot of will-power. I don't mind on season dieting, it does however, sometimes get boring. I sure do hope that the Pepper stand/farm by the Truck Crossing opens soon - they have the best peppers for CHEAP (6 peppers for $2.50) I also would love to find someplace that sells Chicken breasts to the public wholesale (just like Vanderpohl's does with its egg whites.)

Well, I think that is it for now, but stay tuned for more.
