hence....

Hahaha, I see. That went right over my head the first time because my thoughts were blinded by anti-UFC rage.

I really think that Tim will give him problems.

I can see Sylvia giving fedor more problems than what most people are apparently thinking...

Sylvia's just one of those guys that may come in at 265 (or whatever the limits gonna be) but it's a seemingly HEAVY 265....

it almost seems like the guy has concrete in his damned shoes or something

Geo, are you insinuating that for the last 5+ years Pride was infinitely superior to the UFC? You sly dog you!

I miss pride as much as the next guy....

just wish everyone  that was fighting in pride hadn't scattered all over the place....

I think Dana should have kept pride in tact when he bough it and just called it "UFC east" and kept a two title system going with occasional super fights every 9 months or so

That's what they said he was going to do when they bought it. If they did that MMA would be better than ever right now. They could have just kept rotating fighters between the two organizations and have a grand prix in Japan every year. But nah, they had to destroy it and scatter some of the world's best talent, and a lot of those guys haven't fought since, which sucks.

He was blowing smoke up all our asses and everyone fell for it. That's why I hope Dream actually reclaims what Pride lost. As long as they avoid the Yakuza bullshit, they should be fine.

I'll be honest....

when page beat Hendo I was disappointed....

but the second hendo tapped against silva I literally felt the air leaking out of my "MMA fandom"

the whole pride mystique was destroyed way too quickly...

I think the UFC needed the comparison to pride just to make things interesting and to keep people wondering "what if"

it's the element of "what if" that keeps some people interested especially with a limited talent pool

Nice to see Josh avenging his loss to Rizzo.

Timmy will just be another name on the G.O.A.T resume.

I hope Mark does well even though he didn't make weigh in.

Oleg said he would still fight Mark.

According to my cable Oleg is fighting Don Frye and it is 35 bucks(not worth it imo). Butterbean is on the card as well.

Good-bye UFC. ;D

Tim Sylvia Vs. Fedor

Andrei Arlovski Vs. Ben Rothwell

Babalu Vs. Mike Whitehead

Pedro Rizzo Vs. Josh Barnett

Alexander Emelienenko vs. TBA

bezerk i agree with you on most of your topics but this card is not that good... yea the ufc's heavies suck but overall it a far Superior organization and I'm not that excited to see arlovski again or a washed up babalu.... MIKE WHITEHEAD, BEN ROTHWELL  ::)
JUST NOT DOING IT FOR ME.

You and I are both named after formerly great warriors who have aged. It's kind of sad actually.  :(
