Need job advice
« on: June 04, 2008, 08:25:08 PM »
So I am stuck in a job I don't like much but here is an opportunity that has been offered to me.  At present I am trying to get a good salary job (now that I am out of school) but in the mean time I have been offered a job to travel for my current company and essentially double my current pay check.  I have no attachments really and it would only cost me $350 a month to live in the new area.  I would not be relocating permanently so I wouldn't worry about moving costs.  As long as I finish my follow up testing with the job I really want (which would be in the next 1-1.5 months) then it could work well.  Family thinks I'm dumb but I want some perspective from others.  Thanks.

cap, I think I'd do it.  Sounds like the experience would also look good on your resume.

I live in the Bay Area, N. California.  40min west of Sac.  Not in Yuba City/Marysville

Yuba City suck balls.  BTW.

But if it's only for a few weeks, and you can save some scrilla,  It's a good deal IMO.
