You can't get all the guns back.  Anytime you ban them, there will be a 50 to 100 year period of 'shittiness' where bad guys will have an edge.

I have a masters in business adminstration, a second AS in computer networking, and a pile of industry certifications.   I was repeatedly tested 137 IQ in elementary school (although I agree that IQ is irrelevant and people who argue it are douchebags)  And my concealed permit means I have a crystal clean criminal record.  I jump thru a million hoops to be able to carry.  I had to memorize state law and prove competency with the weapon.

So please stop attacking the messenger.  I"m an educated guy.  I know statistics.  I don't claim to be an expert on guns.  You brought up the issue, not I.

I got an MBA and numerous computer certs while working fulltime and playing in a band.  I graduated magna cum laude.  I did it all while posting here a shitload and going out a lot too.  I guess it doesnt matter if you believe the 137 IQ.. it hasn't done much for me.  I managed to get a tough degree without trying too hard and while being pretty busy.  I don't think everyone can do that.  I think 140 is genius.  If I was going to lie, I think I'd put myself there.  137 was the elementary score.  I"m not sure IQ matters in real life.  MA/CA... that means my 31-year old brain would have the intelligence of a 42 year old?  Eh... IQ is irrelevant.  call BS if you'd like.  I accomplished the degree and good grades without much effort.
