I do long medium dose cycles. Test and deca. Upper end is 600mg total, "maintainence dose" is 200mg every 10 days. I taper over a period of 2 months.

I taper off to 200mg every 2 weeks for a few weeks then stop. When I stop, I feel better (strange), As though there's less stress on my body. Of course my endurance in the gym is lessened. But strength is high. Appetite is much higher off roids too so I eat less clean and train and maintain my weight with a slightly higher body fat.

Never experienced a crash. In fact, I feel better.

But I did experience a crash when I did my first 3 week dbol only cycle.

I think with injectables, if u taper off, you'll be fine.

What I dont' understand is when people start their PCT 2 or 3 weeks after their last shot of test or deca, claiming it's because of the half-life. But hell, there's still another half of the drug in they system!!

The active life of testosterone enanthate is roughly 15 days. That means the half life is roughly 7 days. Meaning after 7 days half of the steroid is out of your system, and another seven days half of the half is out of your system, leaving you approximately 1/4 of the original dose. So if you were on 500mg test enanthate, after 7 days you would have approx 250mg left in your system. Another 7 days and your down to approximately 125mg which would be a replacement dose from a TRT clinic. This is pretty close (still higher) than your normal test and estrogen levels of a male. This would be the perfect time to start a PCT utilizing a SERM such as clomid/nolvadex, and an AI like aromasin, to start the natural production of testosterone.

Yes.

I think it's rare for a person to taper off without PCT and not experience a crash somewhere along the line.

The anabolic cliff is something you don't want to fall off of.

Agreed, for me it would not be worth the possible problems.
