Rampage and Rampage's trainers bets
« on: July 08, 2008, 07:37:26 PM »
1)  On one the TUF episodes Rampage said he would bet his whole purse on the fact that his fight wouldnt go to a decision

also.....

2) On one of those build-up shows Rampage's trainer said he would retire if Rampage lost

Will either of them follow through with their respective claim?

No.

It was stupid to say that, but it would be even more stupid to follow through.

I agree. I think they were both so confident that they said certain things to "Wow" the audience. Now faced with reality, I think they will play if off as building the hype.

for some reason this post brought me back to when Tito Ortiz called out Chuck in the crowd after one of his matches or something like that...talked about chucks gut or something..etc and he wanted to fight him.

chuck got in the cage from the crowd looked him dead in his eyes and told joe rogan "He doesn't want to fight me because I will knock him out..........and he KNOWS IT!" LMAO

chuck went on to knock him out obviously when they fought.

not sure why I thought of this but thought it was funny...call a guy out and they guy came in and put your a$$ in check....."AND HE KNOWS IT!" LOL

I just watched the pre-fight thing again with Rampage's trainer.....here's my take on on it.  He paused...wanted to say something, then I think the only thing he could then think of was to say that comment about retiring if Rampage lost.  For a brief second you get the feeling he realized what he said and wished he hadn't said it.

Right at the 0:50 mark you see him start saying it...but they dont show his face during the entire comment.
