I've been leaning towards him for quite sometime.

Then he started talking about what i should drive and eat.

Wants to raise Capital gains tax to 28%

But, really right now, I wonder if his children know how to speak spanish.

Also,  when he said to the effect:   "People who don't know English will learn it"  Showed me how out of touch he is.

These fvcking people aren't going to learn english.   They never will.   There are whole communities out here that speak nothing but spanish.  School classes in some school districts are taught 50% of the time in spanish because their LAZY non eNlgish speaking parents are catered to instead of the other way around which should be:

Learn to speak English or GET THE FVCK OUT!  Deport you and your whole non English speaking leeches the fvck out of here.   If you can't do the USA the respect to learn it's language then you DON'T DESERVE TO BE HERE!  GET THE FVCK OUT RIGHT NOW!

Just so i don;t have to say this later on:   I have no problem with anyone who wants to come and live in America, just so long as they speak passible English and can function in society with it.

I say, gIve them 18 months and anyone who can't speak passible English gets thrown on a bus out of here that day.  fvck 'em.

So the next time i order something, THEY FVCKING GET IT RIGHT...........  My tax dollars aren't spent on my children being cheated on school time in school, the government doesn't have to print billions of duplicated documents in spanish, doesn't have to hire spanish interpreters, etc....

now that's a rant ofter my own heart.  well done   It seems to be a Mexican problem if you ask me.  Chinese come here and learn English.  Russians come here and learn English.  Maybe not all but the only people I've seen insistent that we learn their language and not the other way around are Mexicans and it bugs me too--and I want to learn Spanish.  What bugs me even more about Mexicans is how they march around like they're going to kick your ass.  Nothing like being checked in the grocery store when you walk by a 4' 5" Mexican LOL.

I can't afford him.

I live in Maryland and pay a boatload in taxes (do you recall my rants about paying the AMT?). This puts quite a damper on my discretionary spending. With Obama I can realistically expect to have even less. Now, to be fair, I really don't expect a damn thing to change under McCain. Thank you two party system.

When people talk about the rich being those that make $200,000 or greater in this country they seem to forget to take into consideration the regional cost of living index. I'm middle class in Maryland but according to our "progressive" tax system I'm rich.

Politically I'm very much a Ron Paul guy. Not sure if I can sum it up better than that.

I do like Obama though. He seems like a man of integrity who really wants to do the right thing. I just don't agree with how he wants to do them.

I will say this though, ...as an individual who lives in an officially bi-lingual country whose major language is English, ...the future belongs to Francophone perfectly fluent in both languages. They can pretty much right their own ticket up here. If your kids learn Spanish, and hispanic newcomers refuse to learn english, who will find themselves at a distinct advantage and/or disadvantage as the years go by, ...especially if the North American union becomes a reality?

Change is often difficult to adjust to, ...but sometime's it's for the best.  Just something to consider.

A large reason people need to learn how to speak English is safety. A kid was lost at the beach, the parents and the family did not speak English and could not communicate with the lifeguards, after a few hours they found the kid but he could have drowned, most likely the lifeguards would have been blamed for that by the city since some rights group would think they need to speak mandarin.
